What's free and what's paid for filmmakers
Submitting is free. This page sets out, in one place, what every step costs. Most of it is free. The one paid option, Fast-track, is optional and says exactly what you get before you pay.
Free: submitting and a standard review
- Submitting is free. Submit your film here.
- A standard review can take up to 3 months, because of the number of films we receive. Every film is watched in full by our team, and we email you our decision either way.
- You can send up to three films for a free standard review in one calendar month (we may change that number).
- A free review covers the film you submitted it for. If your film is not selected, it can't be sent in again.
Paid, optional: Fast-track review, £19
If you need a decision sooner, choose Fast-track when you press Submit.
- A decision within 7 days of your payment, with three lines of notes from the reviewer, whatever the decision.
- If we miss the 7 days, the full £19 is refunded automatically.
- You can cancel for a full refund at any time before we decide: contact us with your film's title.
- It doesn't change whether your film is chosen: every film is judged on the same criteria.
