If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it quickly and securely from the login page.
How to reset
- Go to the Sign In page on theshortfilmshow.com or open the app.
- Select Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address linked to your account.
- You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) from our no-reply email address.
- Enter that OTP when prompted and create your new password.
Passwords must meet the security standards shown on screen. You can reset them as often as needed.
There’s no need to contact support for password changes — everything can be done directly through the login page.
Managing My Account Settings
Every registered user has a personal account area.
This includes basic profile settings for all viewers and extra tools for filmmakers whose films are selected.
Updating your profile
From My Account, you can:
- Change your profile picture
- Update your name
- Change your password
Email addresses can’t be changed at this time, so make sure you sign up with the address you plan to use long term.
Deleting your account
If you choose to delete your account:
- Go to My Account
- Select Delete My Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deleting your account removes your viewer profile and access to the platform.
Any short films you’ve submitted remain licensed to The Short Film Show under their original agreement, so films and related assets are not deleted.
Filmmaker accounts
If one of your short films is selected, your viewer account automatically gains a filmmaker profile.
This unlocks extra settings, including tools to manage your film page, view statistics, and add optional assets like artwork or behind-the-scenes content.

Include as much detail as possible, for example, which device or browser you’re using and the film title (if applicable).
Our team aims to reply within 48 hours during the working week.
If your request arrives over a weekend or public holiday, it will be reviewed as soon as the support desk reopens.
